Life’s too short to be a slave to cleaning up.
No one wakes up in the morning overjoyed by the prospect of deeply cleaning and tidying their house. But waking up in a home that has been throughout organized is a true delight.
When your home is full of clutter and you don’t have room to breathe and relax – let alone invite people you care about to spend time with you – life goes downhill pretty fast.
Technically I’m a professional organizer and designer, but what I can really be to you is a best friend in the “taking your space back” department.
Because when you get your space back, you get your life back.
I like to make the process fun.
Having grown up in a home where the chaos and mess were so severe I couldn’t even imagine inviting friends over, I decided that when I finally got out on my own, I’d make sure to have it all together.
That…wasn’t exactly easy. Nobody wants to do the work of organizing, and it’s a lot easier to put it off and leave it until later (which, as you know, never really arrives).
Let's create a home that feels good to you.
Eventually I realized that in order to create a home that feels good, fits your style and gives you the space you need to relax, two things have to happen:
First, you need some support and encouragement, because going it alone is hard. It’s a lot more fun to tackle the task of clearing out what doesn’t belong when you’ve got another person available who’s happy to help you out.
I love helping people turn “transforming their space” into a really good time. (And I can be there for you to encourage you and cheer you on through the process by getting on the phone with you when you need a nudge to get you going.)
Second, you need someone to help you make decisions about what will really make the biggest differences in your home – not to mention making peace with the changes. Even though you know that getting rid of things that are mentally and emotionally choking you out is the right thing to do, it’s not easy to do it if you don’t have some help.
I’ll make the “tough parts” of organizing and designing your home space and make them so much easier, because I know how to fix the problems that are causing them in the first place. I’ve got you covered.
I’ll be happy to give you the help you need.
I’ve spent more than 20 years helping people with design and organization projects – from fixing up apartments in the heart of Paris to cabins in the redwood forests of Northern California and everything in between – and there’s so much I can share with you about creating a home that’s a thrill to be in.
